L’Association des microprêteurs du Québec is a non-profit organization that aims to bring together Quebec businesses operating in the microloan industry and to regulate their practices in order to ensure that clients receive:
• Clear and rigorously accurate information;
• Ethical and non-misleading advertising.
Conditions
to be part of the
Association:
Be a company operating in Quebec and offering microloans.
Respect a rigorous code of ethics towards clients and competitors in the microcredit industry.
Provide its clients with clear, precise and accurate information regarding the real costs of the loans granted. Among other things, provide the actual effective rate.
Do not engage in false advertising.
